Photo Credit: Chester Higgins Jr./The New York TimesSunday’s New York Times had a story on Daniel Gans (left) and George Vallone of Hoboken Brownstone who are turning a seven-acre brownfield into a sustainable development. Clean up of the soil has begun and construction should begin by the end of the year. The state Board of Public Utilities recently awarded the project a $3.6 million grant to help develop alternative energy sources. You can read the full story here.
