In spite of gray skies and eventual rain, roughly 200 people crowded under two tents along Weehawken’s waterfront this morning for the unveiling of The Hudson Riverfront 9/11 Memorial, on Port Imperial Boulevard off Pershing Road.
A host of state and local officials, including Weehawken Mayor Richard Turner, Hoboken Mayor Dawn Zimmer, state Attorney General Paula Dow, Rep. Albio Sires, D-West New York, Union City Mayor and state Sen. Brian Stack, attended the 11 a.m. dedication ceremony. READ MORE >>>
