Burlesque Yoga is a new form of body-mind-spirit discipline, where art and sensuality meets sacred spirituality in a joyful dance of breath, movement, humor, music, creativity, and playfulness. It is the evolution of several passions and can stir up the Goddess energy in all of us!

Clothing: At Least one layer to strip down! Yoga Clothes, Hoody Sweat Shirt, Maybe Booty Shorts, something sassy if you want!
Bring towels to use as props and don’t forget your yoga mat!

About Serena: Serena started dancing at the age of 3yrs old and began performing professionally at 12! Her Mom was a Contortionist in the German Circus and Burlesque Dancer, so she was born with a dancing, flexible soul! Serena has performed as a featured dancer in many Cabaret Shows all over the world. Her BROADWAY Credits include, Original Cast and Featured Dancer in FOOTLOOSE. Radio City Music Hall Performance with Bernadette Peters, and she toured Internationally with Phantom Of The Opera for 3 years. While touring in Phantom she began practicing Buddhism in 1989 and is now a Yoga Instructor. After a series of injuries she decided to start an Asana Practice and do the Physical Part of Yoga. Then the “Yoking” happened. Mind, Body and Spirit came together. She got her Yoga Certification in 2002 at Laughing Lotus in NYC. Serena is now a commercial and stage choreographer and teaches Master Dance Classes all over the world including the prestigious Broadway Dance Center in NYC.
