Residents enjoy a taste of Tuscany at Vizcaya

Residents of Vizcaya and their guests sampled platters of Tuscan delicacies, sipped Chianti and Prosecco and enjoyed live music under an early summer sky on July 10, during Vizcaya’s “An Evening in Tuscany” celebration.

The resident appreciation event was designed to showcase the luxury lifestyle Vizcaya offers its homeowners. Guests gathered on Vizcaya’s Grand Terrace and celebrated with their friends and neighbors. Fine wines were paired with gourmet cheeses and hors d’oeuvres. The evening sun setting over the tree-lined landscape provided a backdrop as enchanting as the pastoral rolling hills of Tuscany.

“This is the Vizcaya lifestyle at its best,” said Lisa Macchi, vice president of Sales and Marketing at Millennium Homes, the developer of Vizcaya. “Our homeowners consistently tell us that they feel like they live in a resort because of the first-class service and amenities we offer. Events like these give neighbors a chance to mingle with each other and allow us to showcase the beauty and splendor of Vizcaya at its full potential.”

After savoring dessert and coffee, residents retired to their spacious residences, penthouses and townhomes. Guests who were interested in learning more about Vizcaya were invited to return to the community to tour its furnished model residences.

“We continue to receive a lot of interest in the North Side residences and penthouses in our main building that debuted this year, as well as our luxury townhomes and maisonettes,” said Macchi. “Buyers realize that homes at Vizcaya tend to sell very quickly. So when they decide that this is the type of lifestyle they want for themselves, they aren’t wasting any time in choosing a home.”

Located in one of the most charming residential areas in the state, Vizcaya offers homebuyers the experience of living in a country estate right in the heart of suburban Essex County. The main building rises above a tree-lined ridge top, offering views of the horizon. The impressive, European-inspired architecture combines modern interior spaces and old-world charm. The building incorporates a traditional stone façade with gleaming white trim, stylish railings, elegant dormers and rows of bay windows.

Four distinct home types are available. Penthouses with three bedrooms, 3.5 baths and over 3,200 square feet of living space are priced from $1.5 million. Three-bedroom, 3.5 bath Maisonettes with 3,237 square feet of living space are priced from the $900,000s. Residences with two to three bedrooms, 2.5 to 3 baths and up to 2,662 square feet of living space are priced from the mid $800,000s. Four-bedroom, 3.5-bath townhomes with 2,895 square feet of living space are priced from $799,990. All homeowners enjoy interior spaces with great rooms, gourmet kitchens and master suites.

Among the popular amenities are a sauna, steam room, massage rooms, fitness center, yoga/aerobics room, tennis court and heated indoor and outdoor pools. A Grand Salon and adjoining card rooms in the main building provide residents with additional entertainment.

Residents also enjoy 24-hour access to a concierge, gated security and complimentary valet parking. Residents who choose to travel frequently or leave for the winter can enjoy a stress-free vacation knowing that their home will be safe and the concierge is only a phone call away if they need anything.

Vizcaya’s location is convenient. Manhattan is a short, 30-minute car ride away, while NJ Transit rail stations are nearby in Millburn and South Orange. Many of New Jersey’s best theaters, art galleries, restaurants and golf courses are also just a short drive away.
