MIDDLETOWN, N.Y. – Baker Residential announced today the acquisition of a new land parcel within its Maple Fields townhome community in the City of Middletown, delivering an additional 60 homes to the fast-selling Orange County, N.Y. residential neighborhood.
Officials from the White Plains, N.Y.-based homebuilder recently broke ground on the property which will bring the total number of homes offered at the community to 256 when completed. Town of Wallkill Supervisor Daniel Depew and John W. Dolan, Vice President & General Manager of Baker Residential’s Metro Division, led the special event on the newly-purchased development site at Maple Fields, widely hailed for its competitive pricing and ideal location minutes from Route 84 and Interstate 17.
The new collection of homes is expected to begin sales in the first quarter of 2017.
Joining in the ceremonial ground breaking from Baker Residential were its Director of Sales and Marketing Elizabeth Bauer, Land Development Manager Keith Diorio, Project Manager Scott Gerber and David Bartolone, Sales Representative at Maple Fields.

Two new designs will be introduced as part of the new townhome neighborhood. The two-and three-bedroom layouts range in size from 1,412 to 1,658 and are expected to be priced in the low-$200,000s.
A limited number of townhomes still remain available in Maple Fields initial offering. The three-bedroom range in size from 2,274 to 2,329 square-feet of living space and provide a long list of upgrades in the purchase price. Buyers receive designer finishes, including 2 ¼” prefinished hardwood flooring on the first floor, gourmet-inspired kitchens with breakfast nooks, stainless steel kitchen appliances including the refrigerator, attached two-car garages, finished basement, and washer and dryer. Homes is the current housing phase are priced from $272,400.
“We also have a select number of premium homesites which back directly up to a wooded 13 acre-plus conservation area that has been dedicated and can never be disturbed,” Ms. Bauer says. “These townhomes also offer expanded decks and walkout basements, priced from $281,900.”
