THE POINTE AT TURNBURY MOVES PAST 70 PERCENT SOLD MARK

Vibrant Lifestyle, Sense of Community Continues to Attract Active Adult Buyers

Pointe at Turnbury Clubhouse ExteriorMONMOUTH JUNCTION, N.J.Plates full of bagels and lox rested on ornate tablecloths, forks pressed firmly into thick slices of French toast and residents laughed and smiled with their neighbors at The Pointe at Turnbury’s post-holiday brunch on Sunday. The annual event was organized by the community’s Social Committee, an active group of residents who help plan a variety of recreational activities for their fellow residents to enjoy.

The post-holiday brunch is just one example of the vibrant lifestyle and strong sense of community that has helped propel The Pointe at Turnbury beyond the 70 percent sold mark. The development has grown from a collection of townhomes into a thriving neighborhood. Residents mingle with each other regularly, gathering by the clubhouse fireplace in the winter or by the pool in the summer. They enjoy parties, barbecues, day trips and golf outings with each other throughout the year with the same joy and enthusiasm they share during the holiday season.

“It is always exciting to start a new community, but what is really exciting is to see that community truly take shape, with residents developing new friendships,” said Lisa Macchi, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Millennium Homes, the developer of The Pointe at Turnbury. “The fact that more than 100 residents attended the post-holiday brunch shows people are engaging with one another. Sales remain strong because of the tremendous value buyers get for their dollar, but also because this is a community people want to be a part of.”

Many buyers also cite The Pointe at Turnbury’s amenity-laden clubhouse as the feature that finally won them over. The 7,500 square-foot clubhouse is right in the heart of the community, giving residents a central place to gather for daily recreation and group activities. It includes a grand salon, entertaining kitchen, sunroom, flat-screen TVs, game and card room, library, billiards room and a state-of-the-art fitness center. An outdoor heated pool, putting green and bocce courts provide hours of additional entertainment.

The Social Committee organizes a full schedule of activities at the clubhouse and constantly adjusts it, based on resident feedback. Fit-and-Trim classes, Yoga classes and book club meetings are among the regularly held events. Evening activities are often held to accommodate working residents.

Located in South Brunswick, which was recently named one of Money magazine’s “Best Places to Live”, The Pointe at Turnbury offers residents the ability to own a private home in a community with friendly neighbors, a convenient location and a wide range of luxury amenities. Townhomes in the 190-home community offer an array of standard high-end amenities including gourmet kitchens, finished loft spaces and convenient two-car garages. Three-bedroom, 2.5-bath designs are available, ranging from 1,844 to 2,342 square feet of living space. Optional upgrades include hardwood floors, granite countertops, Whirlpool tubs and four different appliance packages. Basements are available in some homes.

Prices at The Pointe at Turnbury start from the low $300,000s, making it one of the more affordable housing options in the area. Homes are available for both immediate-occupancy and longer-term purchases with spring and summer closing dates. Some premium home sites on wooded lots will be available in the next phase.

The Pointe at Turnbury’s location near several highways and mass-transportation centers is ideal for working residents as well as those who are looking to spend some of their free time in nearby cultural centers. The shops, restaurants and theatres of downtown Princeton are just a ten-minute drive away, while New York City and Philadelphia are both about an hour away by train via the Princeton Junction train station.
