By Joshua Burd — With a swimming pool that is touted as the highest in Jersey City, it’s no surprise that the new 29-story apartment tower known as The Greyson is riding a wave of summer leasing activity.
Located in the Journal Square neighborhood, the 622-unit property at 25 Cottage St. is now more than 60 percent rented after hitting the market in late spring. Developer Nasser Freres announced the milestone on Wednesday alongside the release of new photos showing not only the building’s pool and sky deck, but a host of other upscale spaces that are helping drive demand.
They include an attended lobby lounge with a baby grand piano and spa with steam, sauna and relaxation rooms and modern fitness and yoga studios, Nasser Freres said, as well as a dedicated speakeasy, a movie theater, a two-lane bowling alley and two karaoke rooms. The Greyson also has a fully stocked game lounge with mahjong, pool, foosball, air hockey and shuffleboard, complementing a multisport simulator, gaming stations and retro arcade machines.
